It All Started With a Vision Noah’s ArkIt all started in the late 1980’s. God gave Pastor Paul a vision of the Ark, showing him the location and its purpose. A few years later, in 1993, the construction began as the Lord provided. The Biblical account of Noah’s Ark is found in the book of Genesis 6:14-8:22. In the book of Matthew 24:37-39, Jesus said, “The coming of the Son of Man will be like what happened in the time of Noah. In the days before the flood people ate and drank, men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat; yet they did not realize what was happening until the flood came and swept them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes.” Retreat Center The Ark is open to groups and individuals as a retreat center. It is the perfect place for those needing rest and tranquility. Healing Rooms One of the purposes of the Ark is healing rooms. We welcome people who are in need of healing to come and receive while staying in one of the rooms and being immersed in God’s presence. A healing atmosphere is created by listening to soft music and the reading of Scriptures. The staff will tend to the guests by visiting them and praying the prayer of faith according to James 5:14-15. School of the Spirit Pastor Dan is the director of the School of the Spirit which had been in operation since 1991. The Ark serves as dorm facilities for the students of the school. Over the years the School of the Spirit has welcomed and trained many young men and women from Canada, the United States and many overseas countries. The purpose of the school is to teach people in the things of God and the ways of the Holy Spirit. Our Coffee For the last several years, Pastor Paul has been working with many orphans in Haiti. In 1998, he went high into the mountains to gain an understanding of the poverty and devastation. While he was there, he was given some coffee beans by one of the poor farmers as a gift for visiting and bringing aid. Upon arriving home, Paul discovered that this coffee was among the best in the world. It is his desire to develop a market of green coffee sales in North America for the purpose of raising the standard of living of the Haitian coffee farmers and children by putting monies directly into their hands.
The Ark is 300 feet (91 meters) long, 36 feet (11 meters) wide, and 2 stories high. It comprises 30 rooms and the ministry offices. The dimensions of the Ark are approximately 2/3 of the size of the Biblical Ark.
